This painting was born from a series of photographs I captured during an unforgettable art trip to Alicante. I was mesmerised by the way sunlight danced across the water’s surface and how it shimmered and shifted, casting delicate, glimmering trails of light. The fleeting sparkle of sunbeams twinkling like stars, and the gentle wobble of reflections beneath the waves, became a source of endless fascination. This piece is my attempt to translate that enchanting, ever-changing interplay of light and movement into something tangible, a visual echo of the sea’s quiet poetry.
