Terms and Conditions for ART RETREAT MOROCCO

1. Introduction

Welcome to Deirdre & Fran’s Moroccan Art Retreat. These terms and conditions govern your participation in our retreat and are designed to ensure the safety, enjoyment, and mutual respect of all attendees. By booking your place, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.

2. Booking and Payment

Reservation: A non-refundable deposit of €150 is required to secure your place at time of booking. 50% is due on 30 th January and the balance is due on the 30th March.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made PRIOR to 6 weeks before the retreat start date will receive a refund less booking deposit ONLY if the cancelled place is filled. – there will be no refund if the booked place remains unsold. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 6 WEEKS before the retreat. In the event of unforeseen circumstances causing cancellation by ART RETREAT MOROCCO, you will receive a full refund or an option to transfer to a future retreat.

3. Health and Safety: Personal Responsibility: Attendees are responsible for their own health and safety. Please consult a medical professional before participating in activities if you have any concerns.

Health Conditions: Inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions at least 6 weeks prior to the retreat. Insurance: It is vital that you obtain travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability. We suggest you purchase this prior to booking if you do not already have travel insurance. We will request a copy of this prior to the retreat start date.

Emergency Contact: You must provide an emergency contact person’s details before the retreat begins.

4. Code of Conduct Behaviour: Participants are expected to treat all staff, fellow attendees, and property with respect. Any disruptive or harmful behaviour may result in removal from the retreat without refund.

Substance Use: The use of drugs, or any illegal substances is prohibited.

Privacy: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants.

5. Activities and Schedule Participation: Attendance in all activities is recommended but optional. However, refunds will not be provided for missed sessions. Changes to Schedule: We reserve the right to adjust the schedule, activities, or location due to weather, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.

6. Accommodation and Meals: Room Assignments: Rooms will be allocated on a shared or private basis, depending on your booking preference.

Dietary Needs: All meals will be vegetarian. While we strive to accommodate dietary restrictions, we cannot guarantee that all meals will meet specific requirements.

Damage: Any damage to accommodation or property caused by a participant must be paid for by that participant.

7. Liability: Art Retreat Morocco and its staff are not liable for: Injuries, losses, or damages incurred during the retreat. Delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by external factors such as weather, strikes, or acts of God. Participants agree to indemnify ART RETREAT MOROCCO against any claims arising from their participation.

8. Photography and Media: Permission: Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to being photographed or filmed unless you notify us in advance. Opt-Out: If you do not wish to appear in promotional materials, please inform us via email prior to the retreat.

9. Force Majeure: ART RETREAT MOROCCO is not responsible for cancellations, delays, orchanges due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or travel restrictions.

10. Complaints and Disputes

Feedback: If you have any complaints during the retreat, please bring them to the attention of the retreat leaders promptly.
