For this painting, I decided to experiment a bit. I applied a thick layer of crackle paste to my wooden cradled board, and once it dried, it shrank, creating small cracks. It was so much fun trying this technique, and it works really well with the underwater scene. The texture adds depth while still feeling smooth to the touch. I was able to bring all Ive learned into this painting. So happy with this one.
