Luna
Luna
Capturing the allure of moonlight on water, this painting became one of the first to find a new home during my solo show at Smock Alley Theatre in June 2018. The process of bringing to life the play of light on the water's surface held a special fascination for me. The unique aspect of depicting nighttime adds an extra layer of distinction to the artwork.
The fact that it was among the first to be claimed at the solo show speaks to the resonance and appreciation it garnered among the audience. The play of moonlight, reflecting on the water, creates a captivating atmosphere that makes this painting truly unique.
For me, this piece is not just about capturing a moment but about distilling the essence of moonlit nights, turning it into a visual narrative. It's a testament to the enchanting beauty found in the quiet serenity of moonlight, translated onto canvas and shared with those who connect with its allure.
