The joy of creative exchange.

I was a frequent visitor to Fran's website. As a fellow creative, I admired her visual interpretation of stones and sea, so vivid and vibrant that her paintings drew me into the experience of these natural elements.

During the summer of 2021, we were both members of a sub-group of “ Bite the Biscuit” - a house exchange Facebook page. How delighted I was to take a call from Fran, offering her art in exchange for my house, where she and her family could absorb the energy of the ocean, earth and incredible sunsets on the Atlantic way in Enniscrone, Co. Sligo. Our exchange was seamless, and a joy for all. Frans's family loved my house, and I was excited to invite Frans's work into my life.

My much-loved mother had just died, and I invited my three sisters to choose a print of Frans in her memory. Amazingly three of us choose the same print. Fran visited me to deliver our new treasures. Our get-together was a meeting of kindred spirits. Her talent and passion for her work are aligned with her warm heart and genuine and generous nature. All four of us now have Frans art in our homes- art of the heart, inspiring a new aspect of itself daily, inviting us to connect with the soul of love that was our mother. I was truly touched when, as a gift, Fran sent me a print of one of her works based on the stones from Enniscrone. Have a look at Frans's
