Spring Has Sprung marks the beginning of a new chapter in my art. When I’m out walking, I’m often mesmerised by sunlight filtering through trees. That fleeting magic inspired this piece and the series that followed.

Letting go of control was a challenge. I’m used to carefully working through intricate details, but embracing intuition has been freeing. I built these works in layers, using collage and sanding back through the surface to reveal hidden moments underneath. The process feels alive, evolving like nature itself.

This series has changed me. It’s brought my art to life in a way I never expected. I hope these paintings invite you to pause, wander, and feel that same sense of freedom.
