I’ve always felt such a deep pull toward the Atlantic Ocean. There’s something about its endless waves—the way it can be so powerful and wild one moment, and then calm and soothing the next. It shapes everything around it, carving out the shoreline and leaving its mark, but it also has this way of making you feel connected and at peace.

This painting came from that feeling, trying to capture the balance between its quiet beauty below the surface and the incredible energy that’s always moving above. It’s a bit of both—the power and the calm—and that’s what makes the Atlantic so special to me.
