"We first saw Fran's art at the Artsource Show in the RDS. We loved the calming nature and realism of the seascapes. When we finally contacted Fran about buying a piece we particularly liked, it had already been sold. Fran was able to guide us through picking imagery to base a new commission on though. We were able to use our favourite parts of Fran's existing works and include our own touches as well. In the end, the painting was based on an amazing photograph of the Irish Sea near Greystones. Throughout the whole process the communication with Fran was excellent. We now have this beautiful picture hanging in our home. The way the light reflections are captured means that there is something different to catch your eye from every different angle you look at it. We love the painting and are delighted we made the decision to get it.
