The original painting was a large 120x90cm piece, and it came from a place of wanting to create something just for myself in the studio. I loved spending time with it, getting lost in the softness of the colors and the gentle, flowing feel of the piece. Every time I looked at it, it made me feel like I was on holiday—that sense of calm and escape is what I loved most about it.

It found its forever home almost as soon as I finished it—the paint was hardly dry! The new owners were absolutely delighted with it, which was such a wonderful feeling. I’ve added their review if you’d like to see what they thought!
